This is a guest post from my daughter KayceeAnn. While in San Jose, I took the family to the beach in the morning to swim.
My dad took me to a great beach in Mindoro called Aroma Beach. There are about 7 small places along Aroma Beach where you can put your stuff down and maybe order a bite to eat.
It usually isn’t very crowded, which is great! My favorite little place to sit down has 3 swings, and 2 benches you can eat on. The place we stayed at is right across from the airport. I can’t remember its name but if you walk along the beach, you’ll find it. They have a whole menu of food that they will offer you.
The pancakes are delicious, they are very soft and fluffy. The pancakes also come with a topping of your choice! The sand on the beach is very rocky and uncomfortable in the shallow part, but as you swim deeper it is very smooth and sandy. The water is cool and refreshing. It feels very nice to swim in after a long, hot day!
If you don’t like anything on their menu, about 10 minutes away is Jollibees! Just call a pedicab and tell them to take you there. The Jollibees here in Mindoro is very nice! There are 2 rooms where you can sit in, both fully air-conditioned. If you have impatient kids while ordering, there is a play area right next to the line! You can watch your kid while waiting to order. In Jollibees, the prices are very reasonable. For example, one Yum Burger is about 30 pesos. I hope to see you soon, swimming in Mindoro with me!
