Construction continues on our small store in Mindoro. Read Part 1 here. Already we have more room now for the store items. We installed new shelves to help organize the store stock.
We have had some cost over-runs because some things we could not predict or plan for. One item we had to get was a water pump. The pressure is very low and with a few kids to clean everyday, we though best to install one now.
Also, we decided to put a wooden floor in instead of a concrete one. The cost here was about the same. There were a few things that also needed fixing up and patched up before the carpenters could proceed with their work. The green box outside the store with the electrical wires needed attention from the electric company and we had to pay to improve the wiring.
Altogether we are happy with the progress of the construction.
