I was on my way to Puerto Galera to Scandi Divers when I decided to stop in for a visit to the Badladz Dive Resort. I had read some good reviews about the Badladz so I thought I would stop in for a quick visit since I was going right by the place.
I met Sean and Gavin, both partial owners of this resort. I spoke with both and they were very friendly and welcomed me to browse around the place. Since I had some time, I decided to have lunch and look around.
Sean has been living in the Philippines for many years and he told me that if you are going to live in the Philippines, you might as well live near the water. Good advice.
I was really impressed. The Badladz is right on the water near the Muelle pier. You can just walk down the path from the boats and be there in just a few minutes. I took a look at the rooms and the dive shop and everything looks clean and tidy. Since I had already made reservation at another dive shop, I decided to keep my reservation and stop back here in the future.
After lunch, I walked to the Badladz Beach Resort. It’s about a twenty minute walk from the Dive resort. I needed to stretch my legs and also to get some change at the food store.
The Beach Resort is also on the bay and has its own pool. The rooms are very nice and they have a restaurant on the premise. The Beach Resort’s beach is quiet and clean so if you are in the market for quiet and lying around, this would be a great place.
If you are looking for a great place to dive and stay overnight, I would highly recommend you give the Badladz a call. 0939-914-8819
