If you need a affordable place to stay in Mindoro, The Jazmine Royale Hotel is for you! We stayed there for two nights last summer. It’s 1,200 pesos a night, about $25 dollars in US money. There is free, fast wifi in the downstairs lobby. You can get either a room with one bed or two beds, the one with two beds costs more. Each room comes with a bathroom, a table, a TV, and an air conditioner. There are some American shows on the TV if you don’t want to watch a Filipino show. The town is very quiet at night so you’ll be able to get a good night’s rest.
I recommend going to the Jazmine Royale Hotel since it’s in the middle of town and if you need to buy something or you’re hungry, you could just walk down the street and find what you like! There are many shops that sell fruit, vegetables, rice, etc. It’s also not a very long drive from the airport, the beach or a salon. Located nearby is a Jollibees and quite a few restaurants where they serve hot rice, fish, chicken and ice-cream for a good price.
The salon is right down the road of Jazmine Royale. They do hair treatments, makeovers, manicures and pedicures. It is fully air-conditioned so you don’t have to worry about being hot. They serve chips and other snacks there so you won’t get hungry. There’s a big couch and a TV in the waiting room and a huge mirror infant of the chairs you sit in when they do your hair. There is also free wifi there and it’s very fast.
My experience there was amazing! They straightened and washed my hair and it was straight for a few weeks. They also did my nails flawlessly! My nails were black for a few weeks. The staff were very polite and always asked if I was okay when they were doing my hair to make sure it didn’t hurt. The price for the hair was only 1,005 pesos and for the nails it was 120. Those are very good prices so make sure to check that salon out! I forgot the name of it but it’s the only one near Jazmine Royale so it won’t be hard to find.
